I'm just 30's, man, an ordinary office-worker. I have no special qualifications. That's my position in timeline in Japan. I followed some people I respect but I cannot give anything to them. I sometimes feel awkward.
I started to get a new Twitter account for English speaker on Jan 18. Lots of people followed me. Using twitter, I thought Japanese itself is a uniqueness. As I see my English timeline, few Japanese tweet and broadcast in English.
Most Japanese have some barriers like these.
・ I wanna be friends with non-Japanese, but it's very hard to communicate with them in real-time.
・ I wanna get some reply from English speakers and share with their idea on line, especially on Twitter. But I'm too busy to tweet them everyday and reply to them.
On the other hand, it's a preciousness that We Japanese have prided ourselves on being one of the most advanced people in Social Media including Twitter. In 20's century, we were catching up with U.S and Europe. But this century, we have one of the best network infrastructure , high-end cell phones and fully utilize them. Some says "That's Galapagos Islands." But the other side of the equation is "Japanese lifestyle is advanced culture".
I declare this:
We launch Japanese Social Media Newspaper like Mashable for the foreigners and ourselves !
・ We collect 100 articles on a new portal-site we create.
I ask you what portal-site is the best. Blogger ? or Google Sites ?
・ We introduce them to foreign people including famous marketers in the world.
・ They feedback us and share the know-how.
1. We collect reporter on Twitter. If 100 reporter are collected, each writes 1 article on average. If 10 , each writes 10 articles.
2. It's OK if the articles are your PR or your cooporate PR, but the poster must get 3 people approval.
I really hope you join Kawaraban Project !
Portal of the little people, For the little people, By the little people.
